Delta Touch Kitchen Faucets With Touch2o Technology
The delta touch faucets are a convenient concept. I hate having to touch the faucet with dirty hands. It’s even worse when I’m handling chicken or beef. My wife gets annoyed with me when I ask her to turn the water on for me.

How Does The Faucet Perform
Unlike the 2007 version of the Delta touch kitchen faucet, this version has been very well received.
The Touch2o technology somehow knows the difference between a tap to turn the water on and off and a grab of the pull down sprayer.
There is a lever to turn the water on and off just like any other kitchen sink faucet. In order to use the touch feature the lever has to be in the on position. If you forget to turn off the water with a touch it will automatically turn off after a minute.
The timer only starts if you open up the lever, tap off the water, tap it on and then forget about it. The water won’t automatically turn off on you if you use the lever to turn on the water so you can fill up a large pot.
The Proximity Sensor
The proximity sensor seems redundant to me. Maybe I’m just not completely understanding Touch2o technology.
The touch faucet knows when you get within four inches of it and will turn on the water if you have lifted the lever and recently touched off the faucet. So why bother touching it if it has a proximity sensor?
The Delta touch may not be a budget home remodeling idea but by it sure is a useful one. You want to spend a little more in certain areas so that you can make a statement. Your faucet can be one of them.
